Your data is yours.
Taussig is operated by Brad Aurisch (ABN to be registered). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. We have written it plainly because we think you deserve to understand it.
1. What we collect
At this stage (pre-launch, waitlist only), we collect:
- Email address -- when you join the waitlist or contact us via the site. Stored securely via our email platform.
- Usage analytics -- anonymous page view data via Google Analytics 4. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Contact form submissions -- name, email, and message content submitted via the contact page.
We do not collect passwords, payment information, or any personal files. When the Argus product launches, a separate and more detailed policy will govern data processed by the application.
2. How we use it
- Your email address is used solely to respond to enquiries and provide product updates.
- Analytics data is used to understand how the site is being used and to improve it.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.
3. Third-party services
We use the following services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics 4 -- anonymous site analytics. policies.google.com/privacy
- Amazon Web Services (CloudFront / S3) -- site hosting. aws.amazon.com/privacy
4. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time

5. Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Data retention
Contact form submissions and email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google Analytics default settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
